The Splashing Dance is one of the dances that the Teletubbies do. It was first shown in the episode Playing in the Rain. The Teletubbies do this dance outside the house.
A puddle is outside the house. Dipsy and Tinky Winky walk around the house to where a puddle is sitting, while Laa-Laa and Po walk out of the house. Dipsy and Laa-Laa say: "Eh-Oh!" to each other. When the dance begins the Teletubbies jump into the puddle one by one and then out of the puddle one by one. Then, they all jump into the puddle together and have fun splashing around and then they jump out of the puddle together. Then, they jump one by one into the puddle and out again and then they all jump in the puddle together again and splash around. Then, they jump out of the puddle and pose and cheer and the dance ends.
This dance does not have an extended version in the television series. However, in Teletubbies - The Album there is an extended version with a music key change.

Trivia[]
- From Playing in the Rain onwards to Bubbles, the Teletubbies are silent during the dance. But then, from Dirty Dog onwards to Paddling by the Sea, the Teletubbies giggle during the dance.
- This dance is mostly common in the episodes with The Three Ships.
- In Paddling Pool, the dance opens with The Rabbits Song.
- In Dirty Dog and Paddling Pool, after the dance is over, it cuts to the Magic Windmill spinning for The Lion and Bear (original sketch).
- In Welly Walk, after The Splashing Dance, it cuts to the voice trumpet rising for Tubby Bye-Bye.
- In Bubbles, the dance ends once the Teletubbies all jump in the puddle for the 2nd time. Instead of them jumping out of the puddle and posing, they cheer as they play in the puddle and then it cuts to the voice trumpet for Tubby Bye-Bye.
- In the Dance with the Teletubbies VHS, the dance starts with a clip from The Puddle.
