The Jumping Game is an activity in Teletubbies. It was featured in the episode, Numbers - 5 (Version 1).
Inside the Tubbytronic Superdome, the Noo-Noo tidies up the home, Tinky Winky can be heard singing his song. Suddenly, he comes down the slide! He gets off and says "Eh-oh!" to the audience. Tinky-Winky's excited because it's time to play a Jumping Game. So Tinky-Winky prepares himself, and begins jumping five times. Tinky-Winky enjoys it and wants to do it again. Tinky-Winky goes back to the slide and jumps five times.
He hears a Voice Trumpet, and goes to see it. The Voice Trumpet counts to five in Welsh, "Un...dau...tri...pedwar...pump." The Voice Trumpet counts the numbers in Welsh again, and Tinky-Winky tries to try out jumping while counting and learning numbers in Welsh. He jumps by counting "Un...dau...tri...pedwar, and pump." He goes back to the Voice Trumpet, as they both count the numbers in Welsh. The Voice Trumpet goes down to the ground.
Tinky-Winky then hears Dipsy coming. He comes down the slide and says "Eh-oh!" to the audience. He wonders what Tinky-Winky is doing. Tinky-Winky shows Dipsy the Jumping Game as the narrator counts from one to five in English. Dipsy wants to jump too, and so he has a turn. Dipsy jumps five times while counting to five. Dipsy wants to do it again, so he walks back to the slide, and jumps five times while counting to five on his own.
They both hear a Voice Trumpet, and go to see it. The Voice Trumpet counts to five in Urdu, "Ek...do...teen...chaar...paanch." The Voice Trumpet counts in Urdu again. Then Dipsy and Tinky Winky have a go at counting in Urdu. The Voice Trumpet counts in Urdu again, and Dipsy tries to jump while counting to five in Urdu. He successfully does it. He goes back to the Voice Trumpet. They all count in Urdu, until the Voice Trumpet goes down.
Soon, they two both hear Laa-Laa coming. She comes down the slide. Laa-Laa says, "Eh-oh!" to the audience. She wonders what Tinky Winky and Dipsy are doing. They show he the Jumping Game. Laa-Laa wants to have a turn, so she jumps while counting to five, with the narrator. She wants to do it again, on her own, she jumps while counting to five.
They all hear a Voice Trumpet, and go to see it. The Voice Trumpet counts to five in Spanish, "Uno...dos...tres...cuatro...cinco." They want to hear it again. The Voice Trumpet once again counts to five in Spanish. Laa-Laa counts to five in Spanish. Then she wants to try out jumping while counting to five in Spanish. She successfully does it. Then Laa-Laa goes back to the Voice Trumpet.They all count from one to five in Spanish, until the Voice Trumpet goes down.
The three Teletubbies hear Po coming. She comes in through the doors on her scooter. She says, "Eh-oh!" to the audience. She wonders what the three are doing. The three Teletubbies show Po the Jumping Game. They all jump together while counting to five. Then they want Po to join them, but she doesn't want to jump. She wants to ride on the scooter instead. Po begins to ride her scooter around the house. The other Teletubbies run behind her. As they run around, the narrator counts the number of laps they run, from one to five. Then the Teletubbies stop and have a Big Hug.
As the narrator says, "The Teletubbies love each other very much," the Magic Windmill spins, and the Teletubbies say "Uh Oh!" After they run outside the front door, the Magic Windmill stops spinning and it's time for Tubby Bye-Bye.
Some of the foreign dubs of this segment choose other languages instead of Welsh and Urdu but keep Spanish. Here are some examples:
