Playing in the Rain is the seventh episode of the series. It first aired on April 8, 1997.
Plot
UK Version
A cloud appears in Teletubbyland. The Teletubbies watch some children playing in the rain. Then the Teletubbies rush off to do the Splashing Dance by the Home Hill. A cloud makes a puddle in Teletubbyland and all the Teletubbies end up stepping in the puddle. The Windmill starts to spin so the Teletubbies rush off to their usual destination in Teletubbyland.
The whole Teletubbyland is filled with water and the Teletubbies watch as three magic ships sail through Teletubbyland. After the Three Ships has finished, the Magic Windmill stops spinning and it is time for Tubby Bye Bye.

- The scene where Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po say "Eh-oh!" behind the hills is used in CBBC's show "Hounded". It uses the cover version of the theme song, which can be viewed here.
- This is the First episode to feature the Splashing Dance.
- This is the First episode to have The Three Ships.
- The video "Playing in the Rain" is also featured in Here Come the Teletubbies and the game Play With the Teletubbies on Playstation 1.
- The boo shouter was Laa Laa in the UK Version. In the US Version, Po was the boo shouter.
- The missing teletubby was Dipsy in UK. The missing teletubby was Laa Laa in the US version.
Goofs
When the Teletubbies see the cloud, the camera cuts to the original windmill animation, but when it cuts to the scene where the Teletubbies say "Uh-oh!", the cloud is gone.
