John Simmit (b. 20 July 1963) is a British-Jamaican actor and stand up comedian. He is known for portraying Dipsy. Before Teletubbies, Simmit became famous for his stand up comedy on The Real McCoy. Ever since the original series ended, Simmit continues to do stand up.
