The Teletubbies pop up from behind some hills before watching two girls decorate a pot. The Teletubbies love to play, but, one by one, their favourite things go missing. The Teletubbies run all over Teletubbyland to look for them. The Magic Windmill stops spinning, and the Teletubbies run off for Tubby Bye-Bye.

This is the first episode where Tinky Winky rides Po's scooter. He rides it after he finds it in the tree to give it back to Po.
In the international versions of the Missing Favourite Things segment, when Po runs into the house to look for Laa-Laa's ball, the English dialogue track of Po saying "Laa-Laa's ball" can be faintly heard.
