The Teletubbies are very quiet and lying on the floor in front of the control panel. They quietly giggle and shush as Noo-Noo watches them and decides to be noisy by making his sucking and slurping noises. Suddenly, the Teletubbies look to see the Magic Windmill spinning in the distance. This time, they say "Uh-Oh!" loudly, laugh happily, and run out of the house to watch Oscar read the story of the "Gingerbread Boy" to his brother Felix. Later, in Teletubbyland, a Voice Trumpet appears and says: "Run, run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread man!" Then, the Teletubbies run all over Teletubbyland before it's time for Tubby Bye-Bye.

  • Po was the boo shouter in both versions.
  • Laa-Laa was the missing Teletubby in the UK version. Po was the missing Teletubby in the US version.
  • The US Version of The Gingerbread Boy aired on August 3, 1999
  • The US version had the Running Away Dance, while the UK version had no dance.
  • After the story ends, Felix's line "And higher, and higher, and higher, higher, higher" is only heard when it plays again.
  • The Gingerbread Boy video was featured in the VHS Nursery Rhymes which was released before it aired on television.
    • On a similar note, for the US version of the video, instead of Oscar and Felix telling the story, the girl narrator tells the whole story.
