It was re-released along with Busy Day on the DVD Time for Teletubbies in 2008.

Featuring: Andy Brown, Tamzin Griffin, Francesca Rutherford & Jack Western and The Children of Ravenor School, Greenford

Trivia[]

  • Since the "Big Hug" catchphrase was so popular, BBC decided to make a video about it. (even though some of the segments like The Calypso Dance and The Magic Cloud do not have anything to do with the phrase)
  • This is the very 1st time the "Big Hug!" catchphrase becomes a running gag.
  • On almost half the covers, there is one rabbit in the bottom right corner but, in some covers, the rabbit is on the grass.
  • After the final segment, the Teletubbies watch the windmill stop spinning. However, instead of cutting back to them saying "Uh-Oh", it fades into Tubby Bye-Bye. This also happens in Paddling Pool, when the Teletubbies remain sitting on the hill after the Lion and Bear.
  • This is the first VHS that features Andy Brown and also the only VHS to feature the Funny Lady, as well as the only US home video release to feature her.
  • The chase scene from the Tubby Toast segment was from the Noo-Noo's Blanket Tidy-Up segment which is erroneous because the Tubby Toast segment did not have the magic windmill spinning at the end.
  • The Magic Cloud segment also appeared in the US version of Numbers - 2 but had a different recording on the narrator's lines than it was here.
  • With some of the foreign releases of this video, Big Hug has a different translation in the video title to what is said in the series.
  • In the Dutch version, the Very Proud Crown video is replaced with a video of some Dutch children and their mom making arts and crafts (the TV event also reuses music from Making Lanterns).
  • In the Russian dub of this home video, both the Looking and Rabbits and The Very Proud Crown videos have a different TV transmission.
    • Looking for Rabbits - A girl plays some dog games with her dog.
    • The Very Proud Crown - A girl makes a paper crown with her sister/mum.
  • Dipsy was the boo-shouter in both the UK and US versions. Laa-Laa was the boo-shouter in the Russian version.
  • Tinky Winky was the missing Teletubby in both the UK and US versions. Laa-Laa was the missing Teletubby in the Russian version.
  • This is the only VHS that the PBS website message reads: "To find out more about Teletubbies: PBS Online at pbskids.org".
    • This is also the last VHS to feature the PBS website message.

Goofs[]

  • In the first TV event, Po has Laa-Laa's sound on her antenna instead of her sound.
  • In the Indonesian version, when Dipsy was the boo shouter, the audio of Po being the boo shouter can be heard instead of him.
