Laa-Laa and Po have a big hug before the windmill spins. Then, the Teletubbies all watch a young girl named Reianna having her hair braided by her mum. Tinky Winky can't get to sleep, so Dipsy helps him by singing him a lullaby. It sends Tinky Winky, along with Laa-Laa and Po, off to sleep. Clever Dipsy! After all that singing, Dipsy is feeling tired, so he goes to sleep before Tubby Bye-Bye.

Plot (US Version)[]

Laa-Laa and Po have a big hug before the windmill spins. Then, the Teletubbies all watch a young girl named Reianna having her hair braided by her mom. The Teletubbies dance the Up and Down Dance in the Home Hill. Then, Tinky Winky can't get to sleep, so Dipsy helps him by singing him a lullaby. That made Tinky Winky, along with Laa-Laa and Po, go to sleep. Clever Dipsy. After all that singing, Dipsy was feeling tired, so he goes to sleep before Tubby Bye-Bye.

  • The Laa-Laa and Po having a Big Hug segment was featured in the VHS Big Hug!.
  • The US version of Hair Braiding aired on August 5, 1999.
  • The US version has the Up and Down Dance before the next segment. The UK Version has no Dance.
  • Tinky Winky was the boo shouter in the UK version. Dipsy was the boo shouter in the US version.
  • Po was the missing Teletubby in the UK version. Dipsy was the missing Teletubby in the US version.

Goofs[]

  • The Narrator says "Clever Dipsy! After all that singing, Dipsy was feeling very tired" while Dipsy is still singing. That line is then repeated after he's finished singing.
