The Teletubbies find and play with their favourite things before watching some children celebrate Christmas in South Africa. The Teletubbies are very busy playing with their favourite things. Suddenly, lots of clouds appear in the sky. Then, the clouds begin to snow. The Teletubbies run inside and watch as the snow falls. Everything in Teletubbyland is covered in snow. The Teletubbies walk outside and dance around in the snow. Then, it is time for the Tubby Bye-Bye.

This is the first of five Christmas-themed episodes from 1998.
The Snowing segment was featured in the VHS Teletubbies and the Snow and the Christmas in South Africa TV event is also included in the VHS' US version.
During Tubby Bye-Bye, the Voice Trumpet doesn't turn its head.
The US Version of Christmas in South Africa aired on December 25, 2000.
Laa-Laa was the missing Teletubby.
Tinky Winky was the boo shouter.

During one of Po's scenes during the main segment, the actual Sun can be seen in the sky.
On the English version on YouTube, it says that it’s a Teletubbies Everywhere episode, although this episode isn’t a Teletubbies Everywhere episode.
